Privacy policy

This policy explains what information the ZehnSaz app collects, why, and what you can do about it. ZehnSaz is operated by VELOQ Technologies (SMC-Private) Limited, a company registered in Pakistan ("we", "us").

ZehnSaz is used by students, most of whom are under 18. A parent or guardian should read this policy and agree to it on the student's behalf.

Information we collect

Account details: the student's name, phone number, password (stored only in encrypted, hashed form), class (IX or X) and elective subject.
Parent contact: a parent or guardian's phone number, provided at sign-up.
Study content: questions the student types, photos of questions or answers they upload, the answers ZehnSaz gives, and the marks and mistake types from answers it checks.
Usage information: when the app is used and which features, so we can show progress and keep the service running.

We do not collect the student's location, contacts, or microphone recordings.

How we use it

To explain questions and check answers.
To show the student's progress, exam countdown and study suggestions.
To contact the parent about the student's account and study progress.
To keep the service secure, prevent misuse, and fix problems.

We do not show ads, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Who processes it for us

We use trusted service providers to run ZehnSaz. They process information only to provide their service to us:

An AI service provider receives the student's questions and uploaded photos to generate explanations and marking.
Cloud hosting and database providers run our servers and store our data.

This means information may be processed outside Pakistan.

How long we keep it

We keep account and study information while the account is active, so progress can be shown over time. When an account is deleted, we delete the personal information linked to it within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records by law.

Your choices

Delete the account: from inside the app, or on our account deletion page.
Correct information: class, elective and other details can be changed in the app's profile settings.
Ask a question or request a copy of your data: email support@zehnsaz.pk.

Security

Information is sent over encrypted connections, passwords are stored only in hashed form, and access to our systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what you share with us.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we will update the date above and let users know in the app.
